Hi! My name is Mulyadi Kurnia. Originally from Jakarta, Indonesia, I am currently residing in Singapore. To date, I have stayed across several countries, including Indonesia, Singapore, USA (Evanston, Illinois and Ithaca, New York) and Australia (Melbourne). I would like to consider myself as a global citizen, being able to travel from one country to the other and immersing myself into the culture of that particular country. Despite various cultures and races, I feel that there is a certain thread of similarity in all of us; a desire for happiness. I think there are more similarities than differences among us.
I am an introvert by nature. I am quite contented to spend my time in a quiet, undisturbed moment. I enjoy nature and do not indulge in materialistic world. As I am growing older, I find greater interest in the spiritual aspect of life as well. In college, I studied physics which I found it quite interesting. Here are some of the things that I enjoy doing:
- Walking by the sea side and lake side
- Surrounded by greenery
- Enjoy the scenic view of a mountain range, waterfall etc
- Learning about other cultures
- Breathing meditation / mindfulness meditation
- Fitness, such as jogging, swimming
I have been blogging since June 2011 with the creation of Stop Stress and Anxiety. You will be able to find myriad of topics relating to health and wellness sector in this blog including meditation, yoga, visualisation, affirmation, healthy living, topic on intuition, healthy eating etc.
